The throes of cancer are miserable, dastardly and unrelenting. As the national Oncology community admits, cancer is a diagnosis attacking the entire family. It shatters promises, dreams, hopes and aspirations. The sheer gratitude and appreciation our families show confirms we are all doing the right thing. It is meaningful and powerful. We are making a profound impact. Imagine the kids and Mom/Dad spending time together ... while they can away from this dreadful disease. These memories together will be strong 4 months later when their Dad or Mom dies ... 4 years later ... 14 years, and so on.

With the personalized memory photo albums and family portraits every family receives from KODAK, the memories serve as a link to the grandchildren who will never get the chance to meet their Grandfather or mother. The Foundation will be paying out annuities to these children in the form of memories over time.

When Mom or Dad is diagnosed with late-stage cancer, children find their immediate world turned upside down and face the reality that the rest of their lives will never be quite the same. The Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation helps kids and their parents spend quality time together in the face of these hardships and uncertainties.

While there are many resources and support services available addressing cancer patients' medical, spiritual, financial, and psychological needs, through stringent analysis of the oncology community nationally, we confirmed there is no other resource to focus on the family structure as a whole, particularly in offering memory opportunities at a point where the family can experience and share the opportunity together.
